Keystone

A historic mining town just down the road from Mount Rushmore.

Keystone grew up around gold mining in the late 1800s and is now the gateway town to Mount Rushmore. Its Main Street is lined with shops, restaurants and old-time attractions.

The 1880 Train depot is here, so Keystone pairs well with a steam-train ride to Hill City, and the town makes an easy dinner stop after a day at the memorial.
